Thunderstruck by Vicki Lewis Thompson

Thunderstruck (Thunder Mountain Brotherhood) by Vicki Lewis Thompson (Jul 1, 2015)

The lone cowboy…
Damon Harrison never gets too involved. A cowboy at heart, Damon has turned his commitment phobia into a living—flipping houses. The only exceptions to that rule? His foster family at Thunder Mountain Ranch. And now those "exceptions" have talked Damon into working on a new project with a carpenter named Phil…
Only, "Phil" is a nickname for Philomena Turner. She has a wicked way with carpentry and an even wickeder way of turning Damon's head. And the chemistry is like a lightning bolt of lust. But Phil wants a family and a home, and no hotshot cowboy—even a tantalizingly sexy one—will change that. All she can steal are a few nights of sizzling passion before she has to set this lone cowboy free…

If you are looking for the perfect read for the beach, one that will only take you a couple of hours to read and one that is hot enough to make you jump into the water to cool off, then look no more.  You have found it with this book.

The story is a simple one, yet it still is a timeless read; one that is sure to ring all of your romantic chimes.  It is about two people who embark on an affair who believe that they can just walk away from each other after two weeks and not feel real pain. The sex is hot and spicy, but the characters are a little one dimensional until you near the end of the book.  The story line is uncomplicated, with the book tending to lean more towards the heat than a plot. You do get the requisite ‘happily ever after’ .
A perfect book to spend the day with.
